Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona

The international break finally comes to a close this week, which means that gamblers will be looking forward to making soccer predictions on the major European leagues this weekend. But, which bets should gamblers be making this weekend?

Eintracht Frankfurt vs RB Leipzig

The battle at the top of the Bundesliga season will heat up this weekend, as RB Leipzig travel to Frankfurt. The travelling side has been in excellent form throughout the season to this point, and they currently sit just two points behind Bayern Munich. Julian Nagelsmann will be aware that his side will need to be consistently picking up points if they are to lay down the challenge for the title this season, as Bayern very rarely drop points.

Leipzig have started the season in excellent fashion, as they have won five of their seven fixtures so far this season, and they will come into this game having won four of their last five in the Bundesliga. Nagelsmann's side won their last league game against Freiburg, with Ibrahima Konate, Marcel Sabitzer and Angelino scoring the goals in the routine win.

Frankfurt's season started strongly, but they have soon faded away from the European position after a poor run of form that has stretched over their last four. They have only lost once in this space of time, but they have drawn three from four. However, Eintracht would have taken confidence from their last fixture, as they fought back from 2-0 down to secure a point against Stuttgart. Andre Silva scored his fifth goal of the season to pull one back before David Abraham rescued the draw in the 75th minute.

Eintracht weren't good enough defensively in that recent fixture, and Leipzig will get chances in this fixture. For that reason, it's hard to see past an away win.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City

The Premier League title race will step up a level this weekend, as Manchester City will travel to North London to take on Tottenham Hotspur. It will be yet another meeting between Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola, with Mourinho hopeful that his side will be able to match the win that they recorded the last time that these two sides met.

Spurs are quickly emerging as one of the team's that could be in a great position to challenge for the league title this season. Heung Min-Son and Harry Kane have scored 15 goals between them so far this season, while Gareth Bale is only going to get better as the season goes on. Spurs demonstrated that they have the staying power in fixtures in their last league game, as they scored late to get three points against West Bromwich Albion. The only goal of the game was scored by England captain Harry Kane.

Manchester City remain one of the favourites to win the Premier League this season, but they will need to improve their consistency. The Citizens have won just two of their last five Premier League fixtures, and they will come into this game looking to bounce back from a draw against Liverpool in their last fixture. Defeat in that game could have seen them fall too far behind, but Gabriel Jesus scored the equaliser to secure a point.

This will be a huge fixture for Tottenham, as a victory in this fixture will ensure that they are spoken about in the same breath as the leading sides for the title this season. There is too much inconsistency from City, which means that the preference is for Spurs to get a massive three points.

Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona

The fixture between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona this weekend is must-win for Barcelona if they have any hopes of reclaiming their LaLiga title. Defeat this weekend could see them end the weekend 12 points behind the team at the top of the league, and the pressure could become too much for Ronald Koeman.

Barcelona went on a four-game winless streak before their last outing in LaLiga, but they were able to get a much-needed three points at home against Real Betis. Lionel Messi scored twice in the win, while there were also goals in the win for Ousmane Dembele, Antoine Griezmann and Pedri. However, they will need to take maximum points from this game to cut the points difference between themselves and the league leaders.

Atletico Madrid are the only side left standing in LaLiga that are yet to lose a game this season, as they have won five of their seven league games this season. They have been in excellent form over recent weeks, as they have won their last four in the league. Joao Felix has been the star for Atletico this season, and he scored twice in their recent 4-0 win against Cadiz to take his tally for the season to five.

Luis Suarez will come up against his former club for the first time this weekend, and we expect to see the Uruguayan get on the scoresheet as Atletico claim a huge three points against Barcelona.

Napoli vs AC Milan

AC Milan have emerged as one of the sides that could potentially challenge for the Serie A title this season, but they will face a huge challenge this weekend as they come up against Napoli.

Milan have been in outstanding form so far this campaign, as they have won five of their seven games. However, their advantage at the summit has been fading over recent weeks, as they have won just once in three. They remain unbeaten in the league, as they have picked up two draws during this run of form, with the most recent of those coming in their last fixture against Hellas Verona. Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his eighth goal in five games in the 93rd minute to maintain Milan's unbeaten record.

Napoli look to be one of the other sides that will be challenging for the league title this season, as they have won five from seven in Italy so far this season. They were able to get back to winning ways in their last fixture in Serie A, as they recovered from defeat against Sassuolo by beating Bologna 1-0. Victor Osimhen scored the only goal for the team from Naples.

This will be one of the first big tests of the season for Milan, but we expect them to come through it with their unbeaten record intact. The draw is the most likely result.
