Land-based casinos in Queensland are a major source of entertainment for the majority of gamers. Not only Aussies, but players from around the world visit brick and mortar casinos in Queensland to feel the adrenaline rush of playing at casinos with real money. Queensland residents and tourists have a lot of options to choose from when it comes to finding a land-based casino to play their favourite games. Considering the interest of players for casino games, Queensland is presently working to modify their land-based casinos to offer unlimited entertainment and fun for casino buffs.
Upcoming Queen’s Wharf Casino to Feature 2,500 Slot Machines
The novel land-based casino at the Queen’s Wharf destination resort is working to increase their number of slot machines. Players can expect to find more than 2500 slot machines at Queen’s Wharf, which is more than what any other land-based casinos in Australia presently have. In 2015, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, the Star, and the Far East Consortium received legal permission to create the Queen’s Wharf gaming hub. The work is in progress and players can expect to visit this incredible casino resort in 2023. The present gaming resort, The Star, will close after the Queen’s Wharf starts operations. A new departmental store will come in place of The Start resort in 2023. Also, the license of the Treasury Casino will be assigned to another gambling operation. According to Geoff Hogg, the managing director of Star, there won’t be any change in the licensing conditions of the casino and there will be only one casino for players since the current Treasury Casino would shut down. The construction is in full swing for Wharf Casino. Two semicircular gardens and the cement base have already been built. The cement base will include landscaped gardens to create a natural ambience and for the purpose of enjoyment. Since the area is in a flood zone, there will be no permanent setups but pop-up cafes near to William and George streets. To keep the landing safe from the riverside impact with a container in the future, 26 pilings are drilled into the bedrock. This multipurpose resort will have several other features that will include the casino, retail stores, residential towers, hotels, and food outlets.
Jupiters Gold Coast Hotel and Casino
Also popular is the Jupiters Hotel and Casino, the first and the oldest brick and mortar casino in Queensland. Launched in 1985 and operated by Echo Entertainment, Jupiters Gold Coast is a hotel with approximately 600 rooms and a casino gaming floor. The casino includes more than 1300 gaming machines including video poker and slot machines. Players who prefer playing table games can also enjoy them at Jupiters Casinos as there are around 70 different versions of roulette, blackjack and baccarat amongst many others. Players can play poker for real money as well. Guests and visitors looking for more fun at Jupiters Coast can indulge in shopping at the Oasis Shopping Centre. Art and music lovers can spend their time in a 2000 seat stadium watching riveting performances and shows.
