Fully regulated sports betting company and entertainment giant Rivalry has successfully entered the Australian market through a license granted by the Northern Territory Racing Commission. The news comes naturally in the context of the company's main focus on becoming an international brand.
Australians May Enjoy Sports Betting Via a Rivalry Platform
Rivalry's co-founder and chief executive Steven Salz acknowledged the company's plans of expanding at an international level by penetrating more regulated markets like Australia. The expansion is a critical step of their strategy to grow, and so is the granting of the new Australian license. The Toronto-based company may decide to launch its branded sports betting website in the Northern Territory and reach other regions as well since the license is not restrictive or exclusive. On the contrary, as per the terms of the license, Rivalry will be allowed to host its operations across the entire country. Having started as a platform dedicated to esports that gradually built its sports betting and casino tech offers, Rivalry has a lot to offer to its new market Down Under. Given Aussie's renowned passion for casinos and sports wagering, they are expected to be the perfect match for the company's brand identity. Rivalry also secured a license to operate in Ontario. Together, Canada and Australia represent two of the most important markets for gamblers on the planet. Rivalry recognized the fact that Australia represents the most valuable wagering market per capita while citing a survey published in The Economist.
